A
*5: Pin 5 is the ON/OFF pin. Connecting a capacitor to this pin enables the soft start function. By using this pin, the output can also be turned on or off. To stop output, set the ON/OFF pin voltage to VSSL or less. To switch the potential of the ON/OFF pin, drive the open collector of the trainsistor, etc. When SI-8000JF is started using the ON/OFF pin, take appropriate action such as limiting the current for a large-capacity C3 because a discharge current flows to the ON/OFF control transmistor from C3. The ON/OFF pin is pulled up to the power supply in the IC, so no external voltage can be applied. If this pin is not used, leave it open.
